Brand identity, web design
AA1 Agricultural and Food Research
• Corporate identity design
• Extensive brand guidelines development
The AA1 Group at the University of Vigo researches innovative solutions to improve food production, quality, and safety in Galicia. Their work ranges from sustainable production to the development of new products and waste valorization.
Since its founding, the group did not have its own corporate identity, making it necessary to develop one from scratch.
Among the proposed concepts, they chose the most conservative one—closer to the original design of their monogram. The key requirements were adaptability and multilingual flexibility, as the group operates in several languages.
From this, an extensive brand manual was created, including multiple versions of the logo, adaptations, translations, and variations for different formats.
All of this contributed to building a solid identity manual for a brand that operates across many fronts.

Santificarás las fiestas podcast
• Research and development of aesthetic proposal
• Audiovisual material development
• Photography session execution
Santificarás las fiestas is an independent podcast that started in 2024, tackling current topics, culture, and reflection from a fresh and critical perspective. For its launch, a solid corporate identity was developed to reflect its essence and tone. Additionally, all necessary audiovisual material for production and promotion was designed, including bumpers, lower thirds, and other key graphic elements.
The main challenge was creating a cohesive visual identity that worked across both digital platforms and social media, ensuring an aesthetically appealing and functional experience for the audience.
Infographics, data visualization
Xornal de Compostela
• Data analysis and processing
• Source organization and verification
Xornal de Compostela is a local newspaper based in Santiago de Compostela, providing news, reports, and analysis relevant to the city and its surroundings.
As a designer, I was responsible for creating infographics, offering a clear and visually appealing representation of information. Through graphs and illustrative diagrams, I helped make data and news more accessible to readers, contributing to more effective and visually impactful communication.

Poster design, branding
FIC VIA XIV
• Graphic image development
• Optical illusion design
• Creativity
This project was a personal commission from the organization of the Festival Internacional de Curtas de Verín (FIC VIA XIV) for the development of the graphic image for the 2023 edition of the festival.
For the conceptual proposal, I drew inspiration from optical illusions, precursors of cinema, and developed an image based on a classical figure, adapting it to the project. The result was a printed poster with shapes that create the illusion of movement.
The main challenge was producing the poster with digital printing, where the optical illusion only works if the colors are saturated and luminous enough to create the contrast that gives the sensation of movement—a challenge due to the limitations of this type of printing.
The solution was to use the four CMYK inks in their purest form, at 100% (or nearly), to ensure the primary colors maintained their saturation and contrast without losing the luminosity that would cause them to mix and generate other colors. In other words, the colors were used with the highest possible saturation and luminosity within the available printing limitations.

Art direction, social media
Box 004
• Graphic proposal
• Research and art direction for social media
Box 004 is a franchise of fitness centers specialized in the CrossFit method. Although the company has its own corporate identity, the Santiago branch was not satisfied with the results their previous agency was achieving on social media. As part of a broader communication strategy, a new visual proposal was requested, and I was assigned as the designer in charge of the project.
I identified the visual issues present in their social content and, after conducting research and developing several moodboards, I established a new art direction that the client was very pleased with. The main issue was that the visual communication was poorly targeted and not engaging enough for the intended audience on social platforms.
Some of the new assets that have already been implemented are showing better engagement and interaction rates compared to those created under the previous direction—making the intervention a positive and effective one.
